FRUITFULNESS

Blessed be the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who daily loads us with His benefits. Our God is good and a very present help in trouble.

We are welcome in this month of May which is our month of FRUITFULNESS.

We are going to spend the whole month of May on the MOUNTAIN. “Then the LORD said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them” (Exo. 24:12). As Christian being on the mountain means “fasting and prayers”. Fasting and prayers must be our spiritual exercise, in fact it must be part of our lives. When you live a fasted life; you can move all kinds of mountains. “This kind cannot go except by prayer and fasting” (Mark 9:29).

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food”. (Gen 1:28-29)

When God created us, he formed us in His likeness. He formed us to function exactly like Him on this earth. He also created us to represent Him on earth. He blessed us and He gave us the order to be fruitful and multiply.

God also mandated us to replenish (fill and subdue) the earth. He gave us the power/authority to dominate over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and over everything that moves on the earth (Gen 1:29)

Gen 9:1-2 “So God blessed Noah and His sons, and said to them “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. And the fear of you shall be on every beast of the earth, on every bird of the air, on all that move on the earth and all the fish of the sea they are given in your hand”.

In the above scriptures; we read about the instructions of God for our lives. We also saw and read that God has pronounced blessings upon us. The blessings to be fruitful and multiply. The blessing of dominion. He also gave us the assignment to work so that we can fill the earth.

All the things God told us to do; He gave us the abilities to do so. With any capabilities and abilities, we are expected to be accountable and responsible.

The will of God for is not just for us to exist but to both exist and be impactful.

· We should never be pleased to dwell on a level of existence lower than that on which God has made it possible for us to dwell.

· We should strive to be the best we can be and to reach the highest level we can reach.

· We must not settle for less. Any position and possession which is not for the will of God for our lives, we must not accept or desire it.

· We must not live or accept the terms and conditions of our enemies.

· No matter how good and understanding your landlord may be; you must desire and fight to own your properties.

· Though your friend or colleague never complained about transporting you. You must desire and fight to own your car.

· Though you can afford the best doctors in this world. You must desire to be in good health. No- matter how neat and well sophisticated a hospital might be, never desire to be sick.

· You may seem to earn a good salary. Desire and fight for financial freedom.

· No matter how the people around you do take care of your needs. Desire and fight to take care of yourself.

NB: I would like you to understand that “for you to be fruitful and multiply', you need the material, financial, intellectual means. You need to be in good spiritual, physical and financial health.

· Understand also that “for you to bear much fruit, you need more finances. It means as your responsibilities increase, your needs to solve or fulfil your assignments increases.

· The greatest and most important fruits to bear are the fruits of the Spirit and winning souls for Jesus Christ.

· Though we need anointing to preach, we also need material means to succeed in the mission “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? (Rom 10:14).

· For us to succeed we need to be driven by the agenda of God. We must “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Mat 6:33).

· We must be led by Holy Spirit “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are also the sons of God”. (Rom 8:14)

· We must live by faith “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith” (Rom 1:17)

· We must be sacrificial both spiritually, physically, material and financially. Sacrifice in order to achieve the greatest height in life. “Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine” (Pro. 3:9-10).

· We must be prayerful and ask God all we need “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it” (John 14:13-14)

NB:

WE MUST NO LONGER BE SATISFIED WITH THE LEVEL WE ARE NOW. LET US BE HUNGRY FOR MORE SUCCESS IN OUR ENDEAVORS. LET US BE HUNGRY AND THIRSTY TO LIVE AND LEAD MAXIMUM LIVES. LET US PUSH OURSELVES INTO GOD'S AGENDA FOR OUR LIVES - John 15:16. MAY THE PEACE OF GOD BE WITH US!

DOOR OF HOPE - Pastor E.A.Kaulumah

Blessed be the name of the Lord our God. Our God is good. He's a very present help in trouble (Ps. 46)

I would like to welcome us into this month of March which is our month of DOOR OF HOPE. “Therefore, behold, I will allure (attract, magnetized, attention) her, will bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfort to her.

“God may speak in one way or in another, Yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night. When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds. Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction. In order to turn man from his deed. And conceal pride from man. He keeps back his soul from the pit, And his life from perishing by the sword. Man is also chastened with pain on his bed, And with strong pain in many of his bones. So that his life abhors bread, And his soul succulent foods. His flesh wastes away from sight, And his bones stick out which once were not seen. Yes his soul draw near the Pit, And his life the executioners. If there is a messenger for him, A mediator, one among a thousand, To show man His uprightness, Then He is gracious to him and says “Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom. His flesh shall be young like a child's. He shall return to the days of his youth. He shall pray to god, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restore to man his righteousness” (Job 33:14-26).

We see the lamentation in the above scripture. Our faithful God always try speaking to us in different ways, but our ears are deaf we cannot hear, and our eyes are blind we cannot see.

When God want to attract our attention so that He can to speak to us. He allows strange things to happen to or around us. Many times, God wants our attention, but we are too busy, and our ears become dull that we cannot hear Him. Sometimes the cares of this world do blind us, and we cannot see the Lord. When God wanted to attract the attention of Moses, He caused fire to burn in the bush but did not consume it. When Jacob was having issues and afraid of his brother. He went to discuss with God and Jacob took his time with Him seriously and finally God permanently changed his life.

Its only when we pay attention to Him that we will receive comfort. “The Word of God is proven, and He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him” (Prov.30:5). We receive comfort from God on assuring us to do what he promised to do.

Joseph saw his greatness and things were getting bad and harder for him. Joseph situation was hopeless, accused of rape and imprisoned. Right from that prison; God set him on the throne. Let us pay attention to God. Let us go to God in prayer. Job said; “Though He (God) slay me, yet will I trust Him” (Job 13:15). “All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change come” (Job 14:14).

I will give her; her vineyards from there and the Valley of Achor as a door of hope. The vineyards the Lord has promised here are martial, financial, health spiritual growth, peace, etc. Right in that hopeless situation; the Lord will give you your vineyards.

“she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, as in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt” (Hos 2:14-15) “When the Lord returns the captivity of Zion; we are like those that dream then our mouth filled with singing; then said they among the heathen, the Lord has done great things for them “the Lord has done great thing and we are glad”(Ps 126:1-3). We will rejoice in His mighty wonders.

In the above scriptures; we see what God promised to do for us. I pray that in this month you will receive your own vineyards in the name of Jesus Christ. It is not the will of God for you to live in the shadows of others. The Lord want you to own your things in life.

You might have been surviving on the vineyards of others but the desire of the Lord for your life is to have your own. You have been living a hopeless life and the doors of hopelessness have been opened against you. From this month, God has vowed by himself to give you your own vineyards and open the doors of hope for you.

Our God is a God of second chance. He is the hope to the hopeless, shield in times of war and shelter to all who trust in Him.

Hope in the mercy of God.

“Behold the eyes of the Lord is on those who fear Him. On those who hope on His mercy. To deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine” (Ps. 33:18-19). Its God who qualifies us to be His children. Let us hold unto His mercy.

Hope in His Word.

“My soul faint for your salvation but I hope in Your word” (Ps. 119:81). “I wait on the Lord. My soul waits, and in His word do I hope” (Ps. 130:5)

Hope in His rebuke and chastening.

“His rod and His staff comfort me” (Ps23:4) My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him, for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives” (Heb 12:5-6).

OPEN HEAVEN

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most high” Psalm 46:1,4.

I would like to welcome you in this month of February, which is our month of open heavens.

“When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said “You are my beloved son; in you I am well pleased” Luke 5:21-22.

According to our scripture; we saw how Jesus went to be baptized like others, when His turn came; He was praying, and heavens were opened unto Him.

There is something we need to know and understand about the heavens over our lives. I know there are those who do not know anything about the heavens over our lives, families, territories, businesses, marriages, studies, nations and individuals. Just as when the heavens are closed physically and there is no rain, that country will be stricken by drought. Animals, plants and human being will suffer because of drought. Where the heavens are closed there will be lack good of foods and clean water. Where the heavens are closed, farmers cannot even plant because none of the seed you plant in the dry ground will germinate. But when the heavens are open, life will be everywhere. For you to do great works on this earth, you need to operate under open heaven. Jesus knew this that is why He prayed to secure and open the heavens over His earthly ministry. The secret behind all the signs and wonders in the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ was the open heaven over His life.

When one is operating under open heaven,

You will begin to see things or situation with the eyes of the Spirit. “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor 2:14, Rom 8:5-10).

In this level human opinion, impossibilities and difficulties will not register in your mind. You will begin to feel less of the physical world, and you will follow the unthinkable direction or guidance of the Holy Spirit. Like Isaac who sowed on a dry ground and reap hundred folds (Gen. 26) even the ordinary rod of Moses became a mighty weapon in his hands because the heavens were open over their lives (Exo. 3-15).

When the heavens are opened over your life.

  • You will have the assurance in your heart that you are not alone. God is with you and He who is with you is more than those who are against you just like in the case of Elisha and his servant (2 Kings 6:8-17).
  • You will become a captain where your enemies wanted you to be a captive. Meaning you will begin to rule amid your enemies.
  • You will begin to succeed where others are failing.
  • You will be accepted where others are being rejected.
  • You will move from trials to triumph; from crises to crown.
  • When you are going through a test or temptation; you will come out full of power.
  • You will also be enabled by the power of God to do all He is commanding you to do.
  • Heaven will respond to you with rain and it will water your life until you become like a well-watered garden whose springs does not fail and be fruitful in all what you do (Isa 58:11). In this area; there will be no barrenness. There will be healing in your life. If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chron 7:14)
  • Your dark hours will be like a noon day “The Lord shall be your light” …God shall help you just at the break of dawn (Ps 46:5). “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth. And deep darkness the people: but the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you” “The Sun shall no longer be your light by day; nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you: but the Lord will be to you an everlasting light and your God your glory” (Isa 60:2, 19)
  • Unusual miracles will begin to happen in and through your life. It means you will be operating in the supernatural where miracles beyond your expectation, understanding, imagination and explanation (Acts 19:11-13)

“The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield (covering) to those who trust in Him” (Prov 30:5). Hold unto what He has said and walk with Him for He is near who Justifies you.

For your heaven to be open

  • Abstain from sin: Sin will take you from hero to zero
  • Sin will remove you from being a captain and make you a captive like Samson
  • Sin will turn your victory into defeat (Josh 7:1-9).
  • Sin will give a legal ground to your enemies to attack and devour you. “All who found them have devour them; And their adversaries said, “We have not offended. Because they have sinned against the Lord, the habitation of justice, The Lord the hope of their fathers” (Jer 50:7).
  • Sin will puncture the wheels of the vehicle of your destiny. It crushes a dream and buries visions. Sin will turn your garment of glory into shame. Sin is a reproach. Sin will demote, disgrace and dominate you. Sin is a hard task master.
  • Sin will close all your good doors of opportunities “Your iniquities have turned these things away, and your sins have withheld good from you” (Jer 5:25)

Walk in the word and power of God. John 15:1-5; Eph 6:10-18

  • Be a discipline Christian. A disciplined Christian is a self-controlled Christian who knows what he or she want.

Take godly counselling seriously. My son, do not despise the [c]chastening of the Lord,
Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; 6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.” 7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. (
Heb 12:5-11). “Where there is no counsel; the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety” (Prov 11:14)

  • Become a praying and believing Christian “Pray without ceasing” (2 Thess 5:17). God bless us all!

Prayer Points

  1. Father I thank You for the open heavens in the name of Jesus Christ.
  2. I receive the grace to work in my open heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ
  3. Let every evil covering over my heavens be remove and be destroyed, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  4. I cancel every negative word issued over my heavens, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  5. Thank You Lord for answering my prayers, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Pray as the Spirit of the Lord gives you utterance!

GGDEM monthly bulletin

NO LACK! NO WANT

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. 4 There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. 5 God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just ]at the break of dawn. 6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. 7 The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah 8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! 11 The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge (Ps.. 46)
The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
12 Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In (Isa 58:11-12)

We are all welcome in this year 2019.  We thank the Lord our God for His mercy and grace over our lives which endures forever. We are very grateful to God. This is our year of No Lack! No Want!!! Our year of all-around victories, in the name of Jesus Christ.

We are sure that the words of God remained forever as it is written “Forever O Lord, your word is settled in heaven (ps. 119:89) the word which has gone out of my mouth shall not return to me void without accomplishing what He sent it forth. Isa. 55:10-11.

Each year has its ups and downs, sounds of war, fears, defeats and victories. Year of oppositions and opportunities; problems and breakthroughs; poverty and prosperity. But to us who fear the name of the Lord the Sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings and shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves. Mal 4:2 and in all the battles we are more than the conquerors. Rom 8:31-39

In Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you says the Lord, thought of good and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. God has good plans for us. His plan is to prosper, promote, multiply, glorify and deliver us from all evil. His desire is for us to have an abundant life.

Let us not forget that we are not alone in this journey of life. Isa 43:1-3.

In this year of No Lack No want;

Walk in the Spirit and Judge everything according to the Spirit. Gal 5:16-18 & 24-25

  1. We need to view everything according to God’s word. We should know (judge) no man or anything in (according to) the flesh (2 Cor 5:16). A carnal person cannot understand God’s ways and plans 1 Cor 2:14. God may tell us to do something which in the eyes of men is foolishness; walk in the Spirit of God by obeying Him and the rest will be testimonies.

We must take out negative and confusing words from our vocabularies, words like ‘MAYBE’. MAYBE means something you are not sure of. It is a statement of unbelief. It is a confession from a confused heart. We need to position ourselves in line with the agenda of God for our lives.

Whatever you cannot defeat will defeat you. Whatever you cannot control; will control you. Therefore, take charge!

MAYBE is a sign of laziness. We must not be lazy to search out matters. “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter. But the glory of the kings (you) is to search out a matter” (Prov. 25:2). We need to be sure why we are abandoning what we are abandoning and why we are pursuing what we are pursuing. Unless you are sure it’s not God’s agenda for your life you must not abandon it.

We abandon things because we did not hear from God. We do slow down because we did not hear from God. We must pursue what we heard from God. Others may abandon what they heard from God. Hold on to your vision; put more effort to it and it will be established.

  1. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Rom 10:10). Negative confessions will lead us into negative situations and destinations. Positive confessions will lead us to positive destinations and give us positive results. Speak Right and Believe Hard.
  2. We need to push harder in prayers and knowing what is going on spiritually and how to deal with what is going on in every areas of our lives. Jer. 33:3, Isa 45:11. “You will seek me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart and I will be found by you, says the Lord and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive” (Jer 29:13-14).

Search Out The Matter: we are as strong as our prayer altar. Through prayers; we will be able to discern the voice of God and voice of this world/devil. Salvation is a personal affair; therefore, you should follow God.  God may show great things to us, but we need to find out from Him on how we should go about it. When David lost everything, and people were planning to stone him, he inquired from the Lord and God told him what to do. 1Sam 30:8 (read the whole chapter).

Many of us are behind our schedules because we do not Seek God and when we seek Him, we do it halfheartedly. We have become comfortable with our religious lifestyles. We need to know God in truth and in Spirit. We need to attest to His words and works.

Prayer Point: O Lord grant me the grace to seek You with my whole heart, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Do not follow the counsel of the ungodly: “Blessed is the man who walk not in the counsel of the ungodly…” (Ps 1:1-3, Prov. 1:10).

Prayer Points: I reject the counsel of the ungodly, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I receive the grace to overcome the enticements (traps) of the sinners, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers: (2 Cor 6:14). There are many people of God who are relating to the ungodly. Sometimes they give excuse that these people are also Christians but deep in their heart; they know this person has nothing to do with God. They feed you with polluted words which weakens your spiritual life and it will be difficult to believe in what God is saying to you. “Therefore, come out from among them(ungodly) and be separate, says the Lord do not touch what is unclean and I will receive you” (2 Cor. 6:17, Isa 52:11).

Prayer Points: O Lord, by the power you separated darkness from light; separate me from all works of darkness, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Draw near to God daily through prayers, bible reading, praise and worship and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands you sinners and purify your hearts you double minded (Jam 4:8).

What makes us to be far from God:  PRIDE, SELF CENTEREDNESS AND SELF-RIGHTEOUS (Lk 19:13, Jn 12:25-26) EXALTING OUR THOUGHTS, WAYS AND PLANS ABOVE GOD’S THOUGHTS FOR OUR LIVES (Isa 55:8-9, Gal 5:19-21).

Prayer Points: Every ungodly desire in me; jump out and die, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I silence every demonic voice; calling me from the presence of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.

I receive the grace to abide in the Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ.

The desire and the grace to be in the presence of God; be multiplied upon me, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Obedience: (Deut. 28:1) it is not only enough for us to hear from God, we need to move on and carry out the instructions God gave to us. Obedience is a proof that we believe that God will do what He promised us. And whenever we obey, God is committed to act on His words. When they needed wine at the wedding of Cana, Mary told them that whatever Jesus Christ tells them to do; they must just do it. Later they done what Jesus Christ told them to do and they ended up having the best wine. Your testimony does not come because you heard from the Lord; more than that it comes because you have obeyed the Lord. The red sea parted because Moses stretched his rod over it as the Lord commanded him to do. This means: you need to stretch your rod of power to that area in your life where you need a solution. Much has been given to us therefore much is expected from us by the LORD.

We must not be carnal minded people. We must not argue with God but let us discuss with Him concerning our matters. Let us stop being religious, praying but not doing what God has told us to do. We must not let devil work in us to make us rebellious and disobedient.

Prayer Point: The grace to obey the Lord, come upon my life, in the name of Jesus.

Serving God with our Substances: We need to change the way we serve God. We must serve God with our substances. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength” (Deut. 6:5, Prov. 3:9)

Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish, I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small” (Jer. 30:18-19)

  • Ø Be ready to follow God in the path of multiplication.
  • Ø Be ready to follow God in the path of greatness for great people walk with glory “

Prayer Points: O Lord, grant me the grace to serve You with all my substances, in the name of Jesus.

O Lord give me the grace to offer You the acceptable services, in the name of Jesus Christ.

This is our time to increase amid oppressions, oppositions and scarcity, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Things which God has put in our hands shall not die, in the name of Jesus.

Everything God put in our hands can grow beyond our expectations and imaginations for “Eyes have not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Cor. 2:9)

Happy New Year. May God Bless us all!

HOLY WAR

Our God is a Great and Mighty God; rebuking the devourers for our sake - Mal 3:11.

This month is our month of HOLY WAR. Holy war means fighting a divine battle based through Jesus Christ without lifting an arrow, gun or bow yet there will be victory.

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. 5 Casting down arguments and every high thing that want to exalt itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every though into captivity to the obedience of Christ” 2 Cor. 10:3-5.

As children of God; the battles that do face us every day are spiritual ones. It just manifested like physical but birthed spiritual. We should know that the spiritual world controls the physical world and whatever happen in the spirit will manifest in the physical gives. To win physically you must first win spiritually. (John 6:63). The people you see killed in the physical were already killed spiritually. This is the reason why we should not be ignorant of the existence and importance of the spiritual world.

In Exodus 2; the children of Israel cried out to God due to the afflictions and oppression by the taskmasters that were set over them. God heard their cries and sent a deliverer to them. NB: anytime you reach out to God for help; he set up a plan for your rescue! May you recognise God’s plans for your life, in the name of Jesus Christ! 1 Cor. 10:13

At the appointed time; God started to wage war against the enemy of His children ‘I have called you by your name’ you are mine.’ Isa 43:1

As Moses went to inform Pharaoh on God’s decision over His people. He answered Moses rudely and proudly “And Pharaoh said, “who is the Lord that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I do not know the Lord, nor will I let Israel go” Exo. 5:2.

Right from that time: God demonstrated His power in the land of Egypt. it was a war that was won without any arrow, spear, or bows. Egypt suffered severely in the hands of God and finally the Israelites were set free with the riches of Egypt.

God has said “He will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace” Exo.14:14

Prayer:

  • Any power that has been asking who your God is; shall see your God in great manifestations, in the name of Jesus Christ.

In the case of Sennacherib king of Assyria and Hezekiah king of Judah.

The king of Assyria boasted and blasphemed against God. “Thus says the king: ‘do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he shall not be able to deliver you from his hand; nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the Lord; saying “The Lord will surely deliver us; this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria” 2 Kings 18:29-30.

There are times in our lives were the voice of the enemy is thundering in our ears and the enemy is saying do not let your pastor deceive you to say God will deliver you. Devil can say all kinds of things, but it is the Lord our God who have the final say.

God stepped in and fought him with noises of war because God said to His children “Thus you shall say to your master, thus says the Lord; “do not be afraid of the words which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me. “Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumour and return to his own land: and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”2 Kings 19:6-7

In verse 35, the angel of the Lord went in the camp of the Assyrians and killed thousands. He went back home and was killed by his sons.

Prayer:

  • May the Lord your God always fight for you, in the name of Jesus Christ!
  • Let the terrifying noises from the Lord scatter your enemies in the name of Jesus Christ!
  • Your enemies shall swallow their words, in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • From now on; anywhere you have been despised shall become your throne of glory, in the name of Jesus.

In the case of King Jehoshaphat, king of Judah. “It happened after this that the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites came to battle against Jehoshaphat. Then some came and told Jehoshaphat saying, “a great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar (which is En-Gedi)” 2 Chron 20:1-2.

As the multitude gathered against Judah; king Jehoshaphat and his people sought God prayers for help. In verse 14, the Spirit of the Lord came upon one of the Levite with a message of assurance saying “…Do not be afraid nor be dismayed because of this great multitude for the battle is not yours, but God’s”…you will not need to fight in this battle, position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you O Judah and Jerusalem! Do not fear or be dismayed tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you” 2 Chron 20:14-17. As they word of God came; they praised Him with a loud voice. It means they believed what the Lord has said.

Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, who had come up against Judah; and they were defeated. For the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to destroy one another. So, when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness (they came to where God told them the multitudes will be in verse 16), they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped” 2 Chron 20:22-24.

None of your enemies shall escape, in the name of Jesus Christ.

King Jehoshaphat knew that God dwells in the praises of His children – Psalm 22:3. He organized a mass choir to go before the army. Dear child of God; it is very important to know the power of praise and worship; before, during and after the battle. Many children of God want to affirm the word of God only then they can praise Him. One

The cause of defeat in our lives is lack of trust in the Lord.

O Lord strengthen our heart to trust you, in the name of Jesus Christ!

Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke, saying:

Songs of Praise
“I will sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider
He has thrown into the sea! 2 The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him. 3 The Lord is a man of war; The Lord is His name. 4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea; His chosen captains also are drowned in the Red Sea. 5 The depths have covered them; They sank to the bottom like a stone. 6 “Your right hand, O Lord, has become glorious in power;
Your right hand, O Lord, has dashed the enemy in pieces. 7 And in the greatness of Your excellence, You have overthrown those who rose against You; You sent forth Your wrath; It consumed them like stubble. 8 And with the blast of Your nostrils, The waters were gathered together; The floods stood upright like a heap; The depths] congealed in the heart of the sea. 9 The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.’ 10 You blew with Your wind, The sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters. 11 “Who is like You, O Lord, among the] gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? 12 You stretched out Your right hand; The earth swallowed them. 13 You in Your mercy have led forth, The people whom You have redeemed; You have guided them in Your strength To Your holy habitation. 14 “The people will hear and be afraid; Sorrow] will take hold of the inhabitants of Philistine. 15 Then the chiefs of Edom will be dismayed; The mighty men of Moab, Trembling will take hold of them; All the inhabitants of Canaan will melt away. 16 Fear and dread will fall on them; By the greatness of Your arm They will be as still as a stone, Till Your people pass over, O Lord, Till the people pass over Whom You have purchased. 17 You will bring them in and plant them In the mountain of Your inheritance, In the place, O Lord, which You have made For Your own dwelling, The sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established. 18 “The Lord shall reign forever and ever.” 19 For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. 20 Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. 21 And Miriam answered them: “Sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!”
Exo. 15.

Topic: O LORD! CORRECT MY ERRORS There is an evil spirit known as the spirit of error and its agenda is to push the children of God in all kinds of errors. These errors come with human good reasons and feel extremely comfortable to commit the error/s. “We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error”1 John 4:6. This spirit has worked and hindered the works of God, because it succeeded to push men of God into all manners of errors. This spirit is so subtle that if we are not sober, we cannot even discover it. May the Lord set us free from this subtle spirit, in the name of Jesus.
