Taste and see that the Lord is good;

Blessed be the name of the Lord our God, who daily loads us with His benefits. Our God is good, and He is our very present help in times of trouble. He knows and deliver all who trust and call upon Him. Hallelujah! “Strengthen the [c]weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. 4 Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you” Isa 35:3-4.

I would like to welcome you in this month of May which our month of DIVINE AWAKENING AND TRANSFORMATION.

Proclaim this among the nations: “Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up. 10 Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'  11 Assemble and come, all you nations, And gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD. Joel 3:9-10.

In the above scripture there is a call to all nation, a call that let all nations “Prepare For War”.

We must prepare for war because life itself is a battle. In life you are either a victor or a victim, a winner or a loser. In life you are either living or you are just existing. The desire of the Lord is for us to be victors and not victims, to conquer and not to be conquered that is why He is calling us to prepare for war. One thing I would like you to understand is that “you win your battle during your hour of preparation.” The better you prepared, the better you will be able to fight and conquer. Another mystery I want you to know and understand is this: “if your enemy win over you, it means your enemy is well prepared and well trained than you”. Therefore, if you must win and conquer your enemies, you must be well trained and well prepared than them.

…Wake Up The Mighty Men...” Joel 3:9

In every man there is a man of valour and in every woman, there is a virtuous woman. That man of valour or the virtuous woman in you is the one the Lord is asking to be awaken. As a battle axe in the hand of the Lord, there is no way you can do great things if the mighty man in you is weak and slumbering. King Saul and his soldiers were always being tormented and ridiculed by Goliath, because they did not wake up the mighty men in them. Even though they were at the battlefield, they could not face Goliath because their inner men were weakened. Then when the young man David came at the battlefield, he was willing to confront Goliath. King Saul and his soldiers were trying to discourage David not to dare challenge the Philistine giant, because he has been a fighter and conqueror from his youth. They were saying all these things because the mighty men in them were slumbering. Their words of discouragement and fear did not stop David from taking on the Philistine champion because the mighty man in him was awake.

Until the mighty man in you is awakened, you will remain a dreamer and seer without being an achiever. You will desire but will not get. You will occupy a position of greatness but cannot do great things. Prayer Point: O Lord, let my mighty man be awaken, in the name of Jesus!

How Do I Wake Up The Mighty Man In Me?

To wake up the mighty man in you, you need to create time and place for God in your life. Often, we are too busy with our daily activities and we have almost time for everything, but we have no time for or with God. And because we usually have no time for God; therefore, the mighty men in us are weakened, terrified, confused and discouraged. Jesus Christ told us to abide in Him. ”4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so, you will be My disciples”- John 15:4-8.

Abiding in Christ daily through prayers and word of God is a necessity in every believer's life. The mighty man in you must draw life, power, wisdom, understanding, inspirations and revelations from the Lord. As a mighty man, you are called to do mighty things in your environment, generation, family and all over the world for Jesus Christ said 13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. Matth 5:13.

As a mighty man, you must make sure that you did not lose your flavour (virtue, value, influence). Anyone who lose his flavour becomes irrelevant in his/her environment, generation etc. When the mighty man in Gideon was asleep, he was always hiding from his enemies. He was lamenting, questioning the existence of God and the whereabout of the miracles which his forefathers told them. He was also poverty stricken and the least in his father's house until the Lord appeared to him and awaken him.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” -Matth 5:14-15.

As a mighty man, you must make sure that the light of God in you is shining no matter the darkness around you. And because you need to shine and be favourable, therefore Jesus Christ is saying abide in Him for Jesus is the source of your flavour and the source of your light. When He says “without Me you can do nothing” it means without Him you will be tasteless, powerless and there is no way you will be able to be influential and shine. Prayer Point: O Lord, Let my light shine in this world, in the name of Jesus!

When Samson stopped abiding in Christ, the mighty man in him became weak and careless. Eventually he was captured by his enemies, imprisoned and blinded. His enemies who used to be terrified by him began to ridicule him. They made him a grinder of stones, cutter of woods and a fetcher of water in the prison house. Samson the worshiper of God was transformed into an entertainer of the Philistines and a worshiper of their god Dagon. Now a captain has become a captive, the deliverance minister has become a deliverance candidate (ooh how the mighty have fallen. Sob. Sob). I pray that the agenda of the wicked against the mighty man in you will not prosper, in the name of Jesus.

To be awaken means to let the lion in you roar! To Let the eagle in you fly! To Let the light of God in you shine!  To Let the visionary in you see! To Let the conqueror in you conquer! To Let the leader in you lead! And, to allow the great potential which the Lord God has deposited in your life before He formed you to manifest. I Pray that whatever power holding your life down, be shattered to piece, and be release, in the name of Jesus.

Let All Men Of War Draw Near” Joel 3:9

In every person on this planet earth there is a fighter, a man of war. And God created us as such because Himself is also a man of war. The LORD is a man of war;

The LORD is His name. Exodus 15:3. There is call that all the men of war should draw near because there is a battle to fight. There is a war going on between light and darkness, between evil and good. And as a man of war when you are going to battle; do not think you are alone for the Great Man of War is with you to lead you in all the battles so that you will get victory.

When Joshua was at the gates of Jericho, he saw a Man who was there to command the army of the Lord to victory. At the beginning Joshua could not tell who that Man was that is why he asked “And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”

14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” Josh. 5:13-14.

“When you go out to battle against your enemies, and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God is with you, who brought you up from the land of Egypt” Deut. 20:1.

In the above scripture we are assured “that the Lord will be and go with us to battle give us victory”. Therefore, as men of war we should not fear to go and confront our enemies. There is no enemy greater than our God. Let us go at once and attack the city for we are well able to fight and conquer says Joshua and Caleb. Hallelujah!

1. Father I thank you for the message of awakening, in the name of Jesus.

2. I cover myself and everything that is mine under the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

3. I take authority and possess the gates of this month, in the name of Jesus.

5. You this month bring all my godly ordained benefits, in the name of Jesus.

6. Let the mighty man in me be awaken, in the name of Jesus.

7. Let the lion in me roar, in the name of Jesus.

8. Let the eagle in me fly higher, in the name of Jesus.

9. Let the man of war in me arise, fight and win, in the name of Jesus.

10. Let the conqueror in me arise and conquer, in the name of Jesus.

11. Let the light of God in me shine, in the name of Jesus.

12. Let the leader in me arise and lead, in the name of Jesus.

13. Let the deliverer in me arise and deliver the captives, in the name of Jesus.

14. Let GGDEM and her children arise and possess the gates of their enemies, in the name of Jesus.

15. Let the light of God in GGDEM shines brighter, in the name of Jesus.

Pray As the Holy Spirit Gives You Utterances!

If you have not yet received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior; Kindly give Him your life now, so He will accept you in His kingdom and also use you to do great works.

Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me. Today I declare you as the Savior of the whole world. Forgive all my sins, wash me clean and make me a new person, in the name of Jesus Christ.  Holy Spirit fill me with your presence and help me to love God all days of my life. Devil I denounce you today, I belongs to Jesus Christ forever, in Jesus name. Thank You Lord for answering my prayers, in the name of Jesus.
