Blessed be the name of the Lord who daily loads us with benefits. Our God is good. He is our very present help in trouble, and He knows and deliver those who trust in Him. “He (God) gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength” Isa 40 verse 29. We are all welcome into this month of June. This is our month of Contest where we must contest with the enemy over the promises of God for our lives. May we win all the CONTESTS, in the name of Jesus. In our last 3 editions, we talked about Power of Agreements, and Power Behind Evil Agreement. In this month we are going to counter -attack the evil agreement. May we prevail in prayers in Jesus mighty name. For there is no sorcery against Jacob(your name), Nor any divination against Israel (your name). It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, 'Oh, what God has done!' Num. 23 verse 23. The children of Israel were on their own. They never knew an evil agreement was being prepared against them and its intentions is for them to be cursed. A curse is an evil wish over someone's life, place, etc. To God be the glory, despite all Balak sacrifices, he was not able to curse them. The people of Israel were blessed. God counter attacked the enemies of His people and their evil intentions against them did not stand neither did it succeed. God has said that there are no magic charms, curses, enchantments, bewitchments against you that will stand, because Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law Gal 3:13. If you must fight a good fight, know what God has done, His plan and will for your life. “See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant” Jer. 1 verse 10. We can uproot, destroy, build, and plant through prayers. Prayer is a powerful weapon used by all victorious Christian because prayers move mountains. A prayerful Christian is a powerful Christian and a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian. It is only through prayers we can counter -attack all the evil agreement- Lk 18 verse 1. Nothing is impossible with God when you pray- Lk 1 verse 37. You must understand that no one is neutral, everyone belongs somewhere and have their powers, you too must have power. Thus, you must not be deceived by the people who tells you that 'what will be will just be' (satan is a Liar). People who are discouraging you not to pray do not want you to be victorious. What you will learn at the feet of Jesus Christ through a church service, you cannot learn it from any carnal school or university. The qualification you get from the feet of Jesus Christ will make you become the envy of many. You will be able to receive wisdom, apply wisdom and undo all the evil deed which the devil has done in your life and family. Hallelujah! Therefore, you cannot afford to live a careless lifestyle because the devil is fighting tooth and nail to keep you at his bay. Also stop running around looking for prayers but pray. Only through prayers we uproot evil plantation, we destroy evil buildings, we kill what has been sent to kill us, we build what the devil has destroyed in our lives, and we recover all that the devil has stolen from us. As Christians, we pray through songs, and words. “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” Acts 2 verse 4. You must be spiritually connected to the Holy Ghost for you to be able to counter-attack the evil agreement. The evil agreement might have happened many years Ago. You can still rewrite that which is written against you and family through prayers. When you are filled with the Holy Ghost, you will become an extraordinary Christian. Holy Spirit who is the revealer of past, present and future will direct you in prayers and surely, you will be victorious in the name of Jesus Christ- John 16 verse 13. “You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways. When they cast you down, and you say, 'Exaltation will come!' Then He will save the humble person” Job 22 verse 28-29. “But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it” Deut. 30 verse 14. When David made a declaration that “I shall not die rather I shall live to declare the works of the Lord”. David counters the words of the devil over his life- Ps. 118 verse 17. This is how we children of God should counter every negative energy and put a stop to the forces of darkness. What is that which the enemy has inflicted you with? What is he telling you right now? is he telling you that God has abandoned you? 'You are on your own' 'No one will help you'. You have nobody' and you are a nobody'. Rise up in the strength of the Lord. Speak the word of God. Refuse to swallow all his pills. Spit them out by rejecting every bit of his works and ways in your life-John 10 verse 10A. You are being cast down but stand to reject the plans of the enemy. Speak the word of God. God's plan is for you to prosper and be in good health even as your soul is prospering - 3 John verse 2. He suffered no one to do you harm, he permitted nobody to harm you. “Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you. Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem! Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion! Isa. 52 verse 1-2. Are you on the verge of giving up in prayers, stand! gather yourself and dust yourself from the lies of the devil, in the name of Jesus! Wake up and contest for your marriage. As a child of God your life must be different from those of your family members. Remember the weapon of our warfare are not carnal- 2 Cor. 10 verse 3-6. · Destroy the altars of satan in your life and family like Gideon- Judge 6 · Destroy the altar in your nation and replace it with the altar of God like Elijah 1 Kings 18 · Trust in the Lord. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God. 8 They have bowed down and fallen; But we have risen and stand upright” Psalm 20 verse 7 8. Child of God, your strength is in God. He is your defense. You must fight to live an obedient life. Allow God to work in you. “For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure” Philippians 2 verse 13. So, the evil one will not succeed with their evil plans against you, in the name of Jesus Christ. God bless you. Happy New Month. Prayer Points 1.
